Welcome to
Traditional-Anime! Your founder is
DCMZed.
Join requests are auto-approved, and after you've joined you'll be able to submit to the gallery.
There aren't many submission guidelines to follow, so please make sure you do follow them (or you'll be fed to a big monster)
Submit OCs and other original creations to the 'Original' folder
Submit recognised fan art and fan characters to the 'Fan Art' folder
Submit your own work only! If you think your friend's work should be here, tell them to join and submit it themself!
Please only submit work that you're proud of that you've tried your best on - we will not accept sketches, unfinished works, or anything drawn on lined/squared paper
Dark scans or low-quality photos will no longer be accepted, take pride in your art and how it is presented!
We won't accept any colourings of someone else's linearts - only pre-arranged collabs will be accepted
No traces or copies, or coloured manga scans, etc - I think this rule speaks for itself
Submissions should be suitable for all ages - tasteful nudity may be accepted and will be judged case by case
The Featured folder allows one submission from each member per year, so choose your very best to go there as it will represent you as a member here! It will be judged against the rest of your gallery, and if I don't think its one of your best pieces, it will be suggested that you submit it to the appropriate gallery folder instead.
If you're asked to withdraw your submission to Featured and submit elsewhere in the gallery, please do, otherwise it will expire and you wont be able to submit to the Featured folder for another whole year.
You can submit 1 deviation per year to the Featured folder
You can submit 2 deviations per day to the Original folder
You can submit 2 deviations per day to the Fan Art folder
And, of course, as the group name may suggest, you may only submit artwork created with
traditional media! We will only accept 100% traditional media - the exception here is if you created the lineart digitally but all the colouring is traditional. No digital backgrounds or brushes! Texturing is judged case by case.
Any questions, please ask here!
Enjoy the group!
